Description of Pedagogical Tool:

Evolution: Game of Games is a lesson plan based on the Ontario Grade 11 University Biology (SBI3U) curriculum. It is designed using multimodalities to demonstrate to students that evolution occurs as a result of random events that change gene frequencies in populations. Students will become familiar with the theory of evolution and associated vocabulary, then play a card game in which each student has a simulated population, which will change over time as a result of random "events" outlined on the cards.
