Description of Pedagogical Tool:

This video depicts a reinterpreted scene from Shakespeare’s Hamlet where the time period has changed, and a feminist lens is applied to give the character Ophelia a voice. This video would be used as an exemplar for a summative assessment where students will be creating their own reinterpreted scenes from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby while applying a critical lens of their choosing.
