About the Multiliteracies Project
The Multiliteracies Project, funded by a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Insight grant, shares educational resources and research on expanded forms of literacy with adolescents and adults. Multiliteracies is a pedagogical approach and theoretical framework originally developed by the New London Group that embraces cultural and linguistic plurality, technology, and multimodalities (combining modes such as visual, audio, gestural, spatial to convey meaning). Find on this web platform original film footage of learning spaces and classrooms, interviews with adult educators, adult learners, teachers, secondary school students as well as policy makers and administrators in Ontario and Nova Scotia.
