Description of Pedagogical Tool:

The purpose of this lesson is to discuss a scene from the play Romeo and Juliet. Students will discuss with their peers their critical thinking and descriptions of the play's notable characters through a "think-pair-share" method and examine the play's constructed tone and how it fits into the tragic genre. Develop students' connections to different readings and texts through different reading strategies.
