Description of Pedagogical Tool:

“The Great Animal Race”/十二生肖动物赛跑 is a bilingual text (English and Mandarin) that can be used to teach students about the Chinese Zodiac. The book is focused on a Jade Emperor who wants to select 12 animals to be his guards and the race and competition between different animals to make it through the heavenly gate. This book also touches upon different life lessons such as friendship, betrayal, teamwork and loyalty.
